We have just finished a fab weekend at the Waterfront Museum in Swansea as part of the Swansea Fringe Festival.
We teamed up with Sew Swansea to offer all the squishy, textile goodness we could and had a great time talking with you all about our passion! We were selling our heritage craft kits, fibres and places on all of our upcoming workshops.
It means the world to us when you guys stop to say hi, have a look at our kits and materials and show such an interest in what it is we do (and you would not believe the excitement when we sell our kits!). Small businesses like ours really rely on events like this to help us get world out about who we are, what we do and how great we are (obviously! ;))
On Sunday we got the chance to spread out and offer demonstrations in weaving and spinning as well as enlisting willing participants to help us make poppies for the Royal British Legion.
If you didn't get the chance to come and see us this weekend - don't despair!!! We will be setting out our gifts, kits, materials and workshops again at two upcoming Christmas Markets.
We are excited to be sponsoring the Clyne Farm Local Produce Christmas Market taking place at Clyne Farm on 18th November. We have a fantastic line up of local craftspeople, artists and food producers both inside and out. It's a fantastic location (visit www.clynefarm.com) and well worth a visit to have a look at some great Christmas present possibilities.
We will also be attending the Christmas Market at Gower Heritage Centre on 24/25 November.
We have just listed a great range of workshops taking us into the New Year so please do pop by our website and have a look at some great opportunities for some well deserved 'me' time over the next few months.
Hope to see you soon!
